The Skin Clinics - who are we?
As our clinics have started to grow, we have had more and more interest and we have also had so many questions coming through. It is lovely to know that lots of you are so engaged and wanting to know more about us. I decided to write this blog just to tell you a bit more about ourselves and what we are about.
In a nutshell we are a training academy (RASA Academy) for Doctors, Dentists and Nurses who want to learn about cosmetic injectables (Botox and Dermal Fillers). We provide them with the academic knowledge and theory about these procedures as well as the practical experience. This is where The Skin Clinics (i.e. Guildford Skin, Esher Skin, Liverpool Skin etc.) comes in. The clients of these clinics are treated by our students under the 1:1 supervision of our highly experienced trainers. Our aim was, and still is, to make the clients our clinics have an exceptional experience, in a safe environment all at a more affordable price point. So far we feel like we are delivering this but we really welcome constructive feedback so that we can make our service for you as best as possible.
One of the questions a lot of people ask is “how is your price so low?” - there is certainly a level of scepticism! The simple answer to this is that when you come in you are mainly paying for the products, materials and covering clinical room hire; you are not paying for our time or expertise. We feel that this is a win win situation!
Our aspirations are big! Our training academy has partnered with a highly reputable dental college to design a year long university-level programme for medical, dental and nursing practitioners who wish to carry out cosmetic injectables. This programme is due to launch later this year, and in a largely unregulated market, this is a huge step! The big bonus for our clinics is that we will have more sessions running and from more locations!
